For Sophtique pop-up boutique, I created a bold eye-catching look to suggest national brand quality for this regional semi-permanent, start-up brick and mortar counterpart to the online space. The reinforcement needed to be striking and consistent to support & capture the clientelling strategy used to bring the chic shopper from the Old Town higher-end boutiques into the pop-up hotspots.

The brief was to develop a look that was minimal to suggest purity, yet inviting with warmth, to reflect the sales message of no artificial ingredients and additives. I suggested small packaging ideas like bags and tags with elements of raw materials like string and brown paper to bring a gentle tactile feel to these start-up cottage industry products that come in lower-overhead cost range for this company in the early phases of scaling.
William J. Bryan Parkway Improvement Project
Logo, and matching materials, created for CD&P to execute the public engagement project in conjunction with the City of Bryan, Texas. The Community was invited to participate and actively shape the outcome of not only road improvements for living and commuting, but also the preservation of natural and historic beauty, and the development of a safety plan to meet the needs of all residents and visitors. The brief was to elevate the branding of the project to convey the message that all input matters and is vital to a successful project.
Identity Awareness Pieces
For this Print on Demand publisher, promotional and public relations reach comes from sharing in face-to-face interactions. Aspiring and established authors come together with WellBeeTree staff at local coffee shops to go over projects, timelines, and crowd funding campaigns. Samples of the P.O.D. editions created on Amazon with CreateSpace, are showcased at Book Fairs, and at Book Store readings. Tote bags, travel mugs, journals, and finally, gift bags to tuck it all inside & take home from the readings and fairs, are a perfect vehicle to promote the brand identity .
Business Identity and Awareness Gifts
The unique cultures & landscape of New Mexico presents challenges for the interests of the indigenous people to be balanced with the development of natural resources. To bring both sides to the planning table, a Hispano Chamber of Commerce business member established two sister organizations to coordinate community meetings & monitor business practices. The goal of Economic stability has to coexist with the creation of strong, enforceable ordinances to protect cultural-history sites and the wild-spaces. This project needed both a look of authority, as I did with the badges, to underpin the concept that Federally recognized Native Navajo Reservation Land Law supercedes the interests of Corporate resource developers. I also listened to the desire for a treatment sympathetic to the cultural aspect on the envelopes that go out to the community to keep them informed, to which I gave stand-out bold colors and geometric patterns.
