Austin Energy

For CD&P

This brief A/B case study, (time to watch: 38 seconds) shows sample of my final final re-draw of the engineering elevation plans for the footprint of the development site of a the new Austin Energy power utility substation. This major infrastructure installation was planned for the popular restaurant destination area of Rainey Street Austin, a controversial proposition affecting businesses, residents, traffic flow, parking, conservation, real estate values,  public safety, and the metropolitan area’s ability to serve power during peak times.

Ease of understanding and adding a clear legend to show important elements, makes this graphic viewable for public facing meetings, for documented survery feedback and discussion.
